I am considering getting a 2004 mazda rx8 automatic. I am familiar with the cars engine as a four port engine mated to a 4 speed auto (and the host of issues they tend to suffer from). Since the only car in my budget/preference range is a 2004 with 78K
First, check out the warranty issue.
Then read up on issues that go with this swap, Mazda seems to change the way the engine is mounted every time it brings out a major engine redesign.
More then likely the best help will come from the RX8
