how do you change oil filter on isuzu trooper mk1 mine is at the rear of engine i cant reach properly from top?

i did manage to get filter strap on but icant see how id restart new filter if i took old one off cant see access from underneath either

Quite often the newer cars are designed to remove the oil filters from the bottom.

Once the cars up on ramps or jack stands, it's usually within elbow reach.

And if it is real stuck.........we stab them all the way through
