for this drive type its not updates to lightscribe or nero or sonic this is a new dvd/dr writer driver by tssc corp samaung..toshiba was a replacement drive provided by compaq origional had a laser optic failure. this is different problem
I had the same problem with my lightscribe drive.
What you need to do is go to the lightscribe website and download the current system files.
